With the cancellation of the Tulsa Nitro Nationals, Mendy Fry has sealed the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series 2018 Top Fuel Championship. Congratulations to Tom Shelar and all the High Speed Motorsport team. Winning the upcoming CHRR would just be icing on the cake.

 

 

FRY WINS 2018 BOISE NIGHTFIRE NATIONALS
#1 Qualifier, Low ET every round, Increases Championship Points Lead

 

Mendy Fry wins Top Fuel at the 47th Pepsi Nightfire Nationals in the High Speed Motorsports AA/Fuel Dragster. Fry ran a 5.66 at 254 MPH for the event Top Speed, Low ET, and the win over Runner Up Dusty Green who clocked a 6.04 at 198 MPH in the Nitro-Hemi.

MENDY FRY 2018 NHRR TOP FUEL CHAMPION

Fry wins the 2018 National Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, KY. It was the unprecedented 8th NHRR Top Fuel win for the High Speed Motorsports team. Now leads season points race.

After qualifying #1 and carding low ET in every round, aside from Jim Young, Fry was the class of the field. The two best cars met in the final with Fry getting the win with a 5.720 at 252 to Young's game and skating 5.841 at 256.26. What a drag race!
