High Speed Motorsports
to Contest Boise Ignitor
Anaheim, CA - May 7, 2007 - Highspeed Motorsports will travel
to Boise Idaho May 11th through the 13th for the 37th annual
NAPA Ignitor at Firebird Raceway.
The race, which is also a division
6 race, will bring a full 8 car field of nostalgia top fuel dragsters
and fuel altereds to this historic venue. This will mark the
first time the Anaheim California based team will participate
at this exciting race.
"Our team is just coming
off of a successful test session at Fontana and I am very excited
to get our race car back on the track," said driver Troy
Green. "I have been to this track a few times in the past,
but have never had the chance to race it as a driver. I know
how well the New family maintains this facility and I am hoping
our team can really show our true colors this weekend."
The entire team is looking forward
to another shot at Firebird Raceway as the car ran very well
there at the 2006 Nightfire Nationals. Carding consistant five
second passes they missed going to the final round by suffering
a holeshot loss to the eventual winner.
Highspeed Motorsports wants to
welcome all fans to stop by and take a closer look at our car
and meet our team members.
