Anaheim, CA 01-27-09: Current Nostalgia Top Fuel champions,Highspeed Motorsports and driver Troy Green prepare to kick off the 2009 season by making exhibition runs at the NHRA Winternationals February 5-8 in Pomona, California. Participation in Nostalgia Top Fuel at the event is by NHRA invitation only and only four cars will participate.

"It is an honor and privilege to be invited by NHRA to be a part of one of their premier events." said driver Troy Green, "I am excited to get back in the car and to run at one of my favorite tracks, Auto Club Raceway in Pomona. Our fans can expect runs in the 5.70s nearing 260 miles per hour. We will not be holding anything back just because this is exhibition only, we still want to be the fastest nostalgia top fueler on the grounds!"

"We always enjoy running at Pomona." stated crew chief Brett Johansen. "This season will be a bit more special having the #1 on the side of the car. We plan on putting on a good show for NHRA and promote the upcoming March Meet in Bakersfield."

After the Winternationals,Troy and the team will head to Famoso Raceway February 22nd to test and prepare to defend their title for the 2009 season.
